A-series 1275cc re-bored to +60 fitted with AE 21253 Pistons on Cooper S rods.
STD Crank crack tested and nitro carbonised and fitted with glacier bearings.
Kent 296 camshaft, lightened Kent followers, STD pushrods, Metro drive oil pump, alloy veneer belt drive for the camshaft, Cylinder head Gas flowed and unleaded seats, 220lb valve springs, STD rockers, 11:1 compression ratio.
Dyno tuned at Peter Burgess rolling road. 19/2/09
96BHP at the wheels at 5800rpm
118BHP at the flywheel
Future Modifications replace inlet valves with 1.4 inch MG METRO valves
Up compression ratio to 12.7 : 1
Calculate the ratio with the AF460 head gasket at 3.8cc so can be reduced to 2.8cc with the use of the AF470 head gasket
